New owner, same wonderful house. Hello, we are Mikael and Pia Jonasson. We come from Sweden, but have lived here in the Algarve since the autumn of 2022, and we are the new owners of The Birdsnest. We took over the house on July 1st 2024, and we truly love it.
Pirkko and Rey, who created this lovely guesthouse, have done a great job and we will continue to run it with the same care and passion as they always have. We are more than happy to assist you with bookings for activities, transfers, and dinners for our guests.

The House. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a living room with comfortable sofas and a large TV, a laundry room with both a washing machine and a dryer, a patio with a charcoal grill, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, all with their own bathroom.
On the second floor there is a larger bedroom with its own terrace and its own bathroom. On this floor there is also another patio.
On the third floor we find the roof terrace with a dining area, gas grill and a hot tub. The roof terrace is the perfect place for all occasions.

The Birds Nest Luxury Bed & Breakfast is probably the best accomodation in Alvor.
The Birds Nest is currently run as a rental house for groups of up to 12 people. We can also open up to renting out the rooms separately during certain periods, contact us if you have such a wish.
It is located in the very heart of Alvor, yet on a quiet street. The Birds Nest is best suitable for responsible adults, who are looking for a relaxed holiday in a luxury environment. All amenities are included in the price.
